Reprocessing of medical and dental instruments with ultrasound

Together with the right accessories and suitable cleaners and disinfectants, BANDELIN ultrasonic baths enable the fast and thorough cleaning and disinfection of medical and dental instruments.

Possible applications:

• Removal of organic residue such as blood and bone remains, tissue remains, grease, secretions, dentine shavings

• Removal of stubborn soilings such as alginate residue, dental plaster, grinding and polishing paste, waxes, flux materials and cement residue

• Removal of tartar from dentures

Ultrasound increases the disinfecting effect and removes impurities from the deepest pores. Spots, surfaces, corners and openings that are hard to access can also be reached by the ultrasound („electronic brushing“).

Reprocessing of medical devices
Please note national guidelines and standards in accordance of the use of ultrasound for instrument reprocessing.
An overview of the recommendations for use can be found on the following pages.
